Grotesques

The grotesque is a traditional decoration, back in use since the Renaissance after the discovery of the “caves” (rooms of the Domus Aurea di Nerone) painted with fanciful motifs.
Acanthus offers decorations with grotesques painted with both ancient and modern techniques on various supports and asserting his own style that has characterized entire residences.
The subjects are inspired mostly from grotesques of the Renaissance and are characterized by panting glazes and a strong antiquing.
